My way I manage stress,anxiety, and depression is with prayer
I use to take medication for depression but it did not help

Medication for depression works only in few cases. It sounds good that you choose prayer as a tool to mange meditation.

I take medication for my depression. When I was younger I was on a rather low dose and did fine, but about a year ago, the stress and anxiety I was experiencing was quite overwhelming and I was put on a high dose of Zoloft and was still experiencing mood swings especially during my period, so we added a low dose of bi-polar medication to even that out. I use meditation and prayer together to manage stress . I find that I need guided meditation to fully relax.

Hi,
How do you feel now. Do you still use only prayer to deal with depression and anxiety. I would suggest you to practice meditation and see for more benefits.

But i feel meditation is different from prayer. During prayer, we ask God for something, and during meditation, God speaks to us.

Yeah prayers work wonders for relieving depression. Listening to soothing hymns lifts you so high that you feel completely lost in another world.

Hi,
I am a regular practitioner of yoga and meditation. By doing meditation mind will remain peace, calm and cool.
While doing meditation mind will concentrate on a fixed point. It helps to reduce stress,anxiety and also depression.
By doing meditation your mind will be free from unnecessary thoughts ,anxiety and anger. If anyone has more views regrading benefits of meditation then please share with us.
